Headlines: AP CM inaugurates Apollo Samudra

TAPOLLO Samudra, a corporate hospital of the Apollo group built at a cost of Rs 20 crore , was inaugurated here on Saturday by the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Dr Reddy, on a tour of the town as a part of the Rajiv Nagara Bata programme, commended the efforts of the group in taking modern medicare to all corners of the country.

The Chairman of the Apollo Group, Dr Pratap C. Reddy, also participated in the function. A press release said it was a 100-bed hospital with all modern facilities.

MRI scan, three modern operation theatres, ultra modern cardiac cath lab and colour doppler were some of the features of the hospital linked to the other Apollo hospitals in the country.
Earlier, the Chief Minister interacted with senior citizens of the town after touring some parts.
